Who is it for?

This programme meets the needs of those who work in tax roles or aspire to develop their career in tax advisory, including:

Graduates from all disciplines embarking on their tax careers (an accounting or business qualification is not required)

How will I learn?

The CTA qualification is designed, delivered and assessed in line with best practice in professional education. Using bespoke materials updated to reflect the most topical tax issues, students are taught to navigate and interpret legislation.

Delivered through a range of innovative modules, the course provides maximum flexibility to suit students’ needs, lecturers are a blend of live online and pre-recorded content. All live lecturers are recorded and made available to students to allow them to study at their own pace, and each module is supported by a comprehensive manual.

How will I be assessed?

Students are assessed by a combination of exams and professional skills assignments.

Achievement of the CTA qualification is testament to the student’s ability to provide technically correct and commercially sound tax advice. There are two exam sittings each year.
